“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.”
John 12:24
So much of our lives are spent avoiding suffering. And yet, if we look back at all the times we’ve grown, it’s likely that we flourished the most during and after tribulations.
Struggles refine our character. The fire burns away the impurities.
Don’t look at the hard things in your life as obstacles to walk around. Look at them as doorways to walk through, in order to bring about new life.
If the seed doesn’t die, it doesn’t bear fruit.
Death is natural. Embrace it. Follow it deep into the ground.
There is much fruit to be harvested on the other side.
